Loaded Tater Tot Nachos {Totchos}

Loaded Tater Tot Nachos are crispy tater tots topped with seasoned beef and onions, Velveeta cheese, shredded cheese, and all of your favorite nacho toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup white onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Roma tomatoes, diced for garnish
  • 4 green onions, diced for garnish
  • ½ cup sour cream, for garnish
  • 1 medium avocado, peeled and cut into cubes for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, for garnish
  • freshly squeezed lime juice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange tater tots in a single layer on the lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until crispy and browned.
  3. While tots are baking, add ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is no longer pink (8-10 minutes). Add taco seasoning to the beef and onions. Stir and set aside.
  4. When tots are done, remove them from the oven and top them with the seasoned salt, cooked ground beef, cubed Velveeta, and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake 5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from oven. Serve topped with tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, avocado, and cilantro.
