Maple Apple Whisky Sour
The Maple Apple Whisky Sour blends whisky with apple juice, lime juice, and maple syrup infused with thyme sprigs for a subtly layered cocktail. Served over ice and garnished with apple and lime slices plus thyme, this drink offers a balance of sweet, tart, and woody herb notes that complement the whisky's character. It's a distinctive take on a whisky sour with fresh fruit flavors and a herbal touch.
Ingredients
- 50 ml whisky I used Johnnie Walker® Red Label® Blended Scotch Whisky, 0.2 cup
- 240 ml apple juice 1 cup
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 thyme sprigs
- ice
- apple lime slices and extra thyme sprigs, slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the whisky, apple juice, lime juice and maple syrup in a jug.
- Then add in the thyme and let infuse for 5 mins.
- Fill 2 glasses with some ice and pour in the maple apple whisky sour.
- Garnish with extra apple slices, lime slices and thyme springs before serving.
