Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts
We love bringing out the natural sweetness and flavor of Brussels sprouts by roasting them. We took it to the next level this time by roasting chopped bacon right alongside the veggies and tossing it all in a bit of maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds fresh Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- 4 lices Bacon chopped into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne see note
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and stir to coat.

- Bake for 25 minutes or until Brussels sprouts are as browned and tender as you’d like.
- Serve hot.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- These really aren't spicy at all, but you may swap the cayenne for cracked black pepper if you prefer.
- For maximum crispy edges, arrange the sprouts so that they are cut side down on the baking sheet.
