- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ½ tablespoon (1/4oz/ 9g) butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons milk (or buttermilk)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon corn , frozen & defrosted
- 2 tablespoons cooked maple glazed bacon , chopped
- 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese , shredded
Notes
- Cooking time will vary greatly depending on your microwave and the width and depth of the mug. I doubled the recipe to use in my 14 oz mug, so this recipe will work well in a 7 oz mug.
- Always keep a close eye on your mug while in the microwave so it doesn’t overcook.
- Add in all the milk. It will make a wet batter but will give your mug muffin the best result.
