Maple Citrus Salad Dressing
Maple Citrus Salad Dressing blends avocado oil with fresh lime and orange juices and pure maple syrup for a bright, subtly sweet vinaigrette. Seasoned with salt and pepper, this dressing can be enhanced with optional garlic, vinegar, and cumin for added depth. It pairs well with leafy greens and vibrant salads.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup avocado oil
- 2 TBSP lime juice fresh
- 2 TBSP orange juice
- 2 TBSP pure maple syrup
- ⅛ tsp salt plus extra to taste, sea salt
- black pepper plus extra to taste, a dash
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
- 1 clove garlic (peeled, smashed, and finely minced)
- 2 TBSP white wine vinegar or red wine vinegar
- ⅛ tsp cumin optional but amazing if you like cumin!, ground
Instructions
- Shake ingredients together in sealed mason jar with a lid then drizzle over your favorite salad!
- For an amped up vinaigrette, add optional extras to the jar and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- Store the dressing in the refrigerator for up to 4 days in a sealed container.
- Yields approximately 4 servings of dressing, adjust quantities as needed.
- Shake well before each use to recombine ingredients.
