Maple Citrus Salad Dressing

Maple Citrus Salad Dressing blends avocado oil with fresh lime and orange juices and pure maple syrup for a bright, subtly sweet vinaigrette. Seasoned with salt and pepper, this dressing can be enhanced with optional garlic, vinegar, and cumin for added depth. It pairs well with leafy greens and vibrant salads.

Description

This dressing combines a rich, neutral avocado oil base with the tanginess of freshly squeezed lime and orange juices. Maple syrup adds gentle sweetness that balances the citrus acidity. Salt and black pepper round out the flavor, providing seasoning without overpowering the freshness.

Optional additions such as minced garlic, white or red wine vinegar, and ground cumin can amplify the dressing's complexity, lending it a mild pungency and spice. The ingredients are shaken together in a sealed jar for easy mixing and immediate use.

It's suitable for a variety of salads, especially those featuring fruits, nuts, or bitter greens, where the citrus and sweetness complement other components. This dressing can be prepared in advance and refrigerated for up to four days.

The recipe makes about four servings, suitable for a medium-sized salad. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
