Maple or Honey Pecan Butter

Pecan honey butter is sweet and creamy butter that pairs well with anything you wish to slather it on.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups toasted pecans chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure your ingredients.
  2. Add pecans, butter, and syrup to a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat until combined.
  4. Add to container with lid and cool until beginning to firm.
  5. Serve and enjoy every bite.
Roasted Pecans
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place on rimmed baking sheet covered in parchment paper in a single layer.
  3. Adjust nuts at about the four minute mark.
  4. Remove from oven at 8 minute mark, once nuts are fragrant and darker in color.
  5. Remove from oven and transfer hot nuts to heat safe dish.
  6. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container for up to 6 or 7 days or in your fridge for a month.

Notes

  • Make sure your butter is completely room temperature before starting.
  • Do not melt the butter.
  • Never use raw pecans for this recipe. 
  • This recipe works best when you use real butter. Buy sticks of butter and then soften them for best results. 
  • Soften butter for about 15 minutes for best spreading ability.
