Ingredients
- 1 salmon fillet (about 8 oz / 230g) pat dry
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or minced fresh garlic
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F/204°C.
- Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Lay salmon fillet in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the marinade over the salmon.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Bake at 400°F/204°C for 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
