Marinade for Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, coating the salmon evenly.
  3. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to a few hours.
  4. When ready to grill, remove the salmon from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade.
  5. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and grill over medium-high heat until the salmon is cooked through and slightly charred on the outside.
