Marshmallow Playdough

Squishy, stretchy & safe to taste — marshmallow playdough is a fun and fluffy sensory activity that's perfect for little hands!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or 6 jumbo marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch plus more as needed
  • 2 TB powdered sugar
  • 1 TB coconut oil
  • Food Coloring

Instructions

  1. Add everything but food coloring to a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Heat for 20 seconds, stir, and continue heating in 20 second intervals until marshmallows soften and melt enough to mix into a cohesive dough.
  3. Stir in a few drops of food coloring.
  4. Remove from bowl and knead until smooth dough forms. Add more cornstarch as needed until dough no longer sticks to hands.

Notes

  • Always supervise kids when playing with playdough.
