Maryland Bloody Mary
The Maryland Bloody Mary is a cocktail combining tomato juice, vodka, and a lick of spicy horseradish and hot sauce, seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay seasoning—a classic Maryland touch. It’s served over ice in a glass rimmed with Old Bay and garnished with crab legs, olives, and fresh vegetables, creating a savory and smoky drink with a distinctive seasoning blend and bright, tangy citrus from lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces tomato juice
- 4 ounces vodka
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- lemon juice of one
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning plus extra for the rim
Garnishes (optional)
- crab leg
- mini crab balls
- olive
- cucumber
- grape tomato
- celery stick
Instructions
- Mix the tomato juice, vodka, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, horseradish, hot sauce, and 1 teaspoon Old Bay in a pitcher and stir together.
- Pour a thin layer of Oldy Bay on a plate. Rub a lemon slice on the rim of a glass. and then turn the glass upside down dipping the rim in the Old Bay seasoning.
- Fill each glass with ice and pour the Bloody Mary into each glass.
- Add your garnishes and serve.
