Mascarpone Roasted Peaches
This Mascarpone Roasted Peaches recipe features halved ripe peaches roasted with honey until tender and caramelized. The peaches are topped with a creamy mixture of mascarpone, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice for a balanced sweetness and slight tang, making it an elegant dessert.
Ingredients
- 4 peach large
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ⅔ cup mascarpone
- 3 tablespoons vanilla sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit and place them inside a gratin dish placing cut side up. Sprinkle honey all over and place in the hot oven for 20 minutes.
- Mix the mascarpone, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Once the peaches are done spread the mascarpone with the help of a spoon and spatula. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Choose fully ripe peaches so the pit separates easily for easier preparation.
- If you don't have vanilla sugar, substitute with a small amount of vanilla extract, but use sparingly to keep balance.
- Yellow peaches are recommended for their flavor in this dessert.
