Michelada Recipe

This Mexican michelada is easy to make, and goes down easy, too! It's made with beer, clamato, fresh lime juice, hot sauce, and seasonings, then served in a glass with a spicy rim. It's entirely customizable so add more or less of any ingredient to make this drink your own.

Ingredients

  • Tajin + a lime wedge to rim the glass
  • ice to fill the glass
  • 2 2 ounces Clamato or tomato juice
  • 1 1 ounce lime juice
  • 2 2 teaspoons hot sauce more to taste
  • 1 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 6 6 ounce light Mexican beer see notes

Instructions

  1. Wet the rim of a beer glass with the lime wedge. Put the tajin in a small dish then dip the wet rim into it then fill the glass with ice.
  2. Add the clamato, lime juice, hot sauce, and Worchestershire sauce then fill the glass with beer. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

  • Depending on the size of your beer mug, you will use a little more or a little less beer. 6 ounces is half of a regular-sized bottle of beer.
