Microwave Salmon Recipe

If you’re short on time, this microwave salmon is the perfect solution. It takes less than 10 minutes to make, and you’ll be more than pleased with the results!

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • chopped parsley optional

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon filets with paper towels. Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  2. Place them on a microwave-safe plate. Cook in batches if necessary.
  3. Add one tablespoon of butter on top of each filet.
  4. Cover the plate and microwave for about 2 minutes (cook 1 minute per filet)
  5. Check the doneness of the salmon with an instant-read thermometer. As soon as it reaches 130–140°F, the salmon is safe to eat. Make sure not to overcook your salmon.
