Mini Pecan Pies

Whether you’re hosting a smaller gathering this year or are simply looking for a twist on the traditional dessert spread, these Mini Pecan Pies are just begging to be added to your Thanksgiving menu! You’ll never believe how easy these sweet, bite-size pies are to make.

Servings: 30 bite-size pies

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Finely chopped pecans pecan chips
  • 30 mini phyllo pastry shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix Karo® Light Corn Syrup, egg, sugar, butter and vanilla using a spoon. Stir in pecans. 
  3. Place phyllo shells on a baking sheet. Spoon 1 teaspoon of filling into each shell.
  4. Bake on center rack of oven for 15-17 minutes or until the filling is puffed in the center and springs back when lightly tapped. 
  5. Immediately remove the mini pies to a wire cooling rack. Cool for 1 hour before serving.
