Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ⅓ cup purple onion sliced
  • 12 ounces frozen peas one small bag, this can vary by a few ounces
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mint fresh, minced

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, melt butter. 
  2. Add onions and cook until translucent. 
  3. Add peas, water, salt, and pepper. 
  4. Simmer until peas are tender and water is almost all evaporated, about 5 minutes. 
  5. Add mint and stir to combine.
