Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Work in the butter until crumbly.
  2. Add raisins and milk, stir until combined.
  3. Pour into greased casserole.
  4. Combine brown sugar, butter and boiling water.
  5. Stir and pour over first mixture.
  6. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • This is perfect with vanilla ice cream on top!
