Ingredients

  • 260 g mixed berries blueberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, frozen, 1 1/2 cups
  • 120 ml coconut milk or non dairy milk of choice, 1/2 cup
  • 20 g gluten free oats not the jumbo kind, 1/4 cup
  • 2 date syrup or agave syrup, tbsp
  • 1 tbsp almond butter optional
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Topping
  • mixed seeds pumpkin, sundflower, linseed etc, handful
  • walnuts handful, or nuts of choice
  • raspberries handful, fresh
  • dried cherries finely chopped, handful, or goji berries

Instructions

  1. Measure the frozen berries and allow to partially defrost at room temperature.
  2. Put all the ingredients for the smoothie in a blender and process until you have the right consistency. It should be smooth and slightly thick.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and layer the toppings over the surface. Serve immediately.
