Moroccan Couscous Recipe

Moroccan couscous is a really simple side dish that is easy to make! Vary the flavor to make it the perfect pairing to any main dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups Moroccan couscous
  • ½ cup half and half optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Bring water, butter, spices, and garlic to a boil in a saucepan. 
  2. Add the couscous and mix briefly. Turn off heat. 
  3. Let sit for about 5 minutes, until the couscous is soft and water is absorbed. 
  4. Fluff with a fork and gently stir in half and half (optional).
