Mortadella, Burrata & Pesto Focaccia Sandwich
This sandwich layers creamy burrata cheese, savory mortadella slices, fresh tomato, and peppery arugula atop focaccia bread spread with pesto, olive oil, and a drizzle of balsamic cream. The combination creates a rich and balanced sandwich featuring soft mozzarella texture, herbaceous pesto, and the gentle tang of balsamic, finished with seasoning of salt and black pepper. Cut into four portions, it offers a satisfying Italian-inspired meal or snack.

- 10 lices mortadella
- 2 burrata mozzarella
- 3 tbsp pesto

- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Cut the focaccia horizontally in half.
- Break the mozzarella with your hands and spread it over the whole surface of the bread.

- Place the other half of the focaccia on top, cut into 4 and serve.
Notes

- For a different flavor profile, switch basil pesto with arugula pesto according to preference.
