Mrs. Fancy Pants Turkey Bacon Panini
Forget boring turkey sandwiches. This one combines turkey, crispy bacon, sweet pear, creamy havarti cheese, fig jam on buttery sourdough bread.

Ingredients
- 8 lices sourdough bread
- 3/4 lb. turkey breast
- 8 lices Bacon cooked until crisp
- 4 lices Havarti or White Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Bosc pear
- 1/4 cup arugula
- 4 Tablespoons Fig Spread
- 4 Tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Cook bacon until crispy in either skillet or in oven on greased baking sheet at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- Spread fig spread on each piece of bread. Layer turkey, bacon, cheese, and pear on bread. Spread butter on each side of bread.
- Cook the sandwiches in the preheated panini grill or in heated skillet until crispy and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Place arugula in sandwich and serve immediately.
