Mushroom Bruschetta Recipe
Caramelized mushrooms are loaded onto toasted garlic bread, then topped with Parmesan and fragrant thyme. This mushroom bruschetta is the perfect appetizer!

Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 1 tbsp oil olive or avocado
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 lb mushrooms
- 1 large onion
- 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
- 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven on the broiler setting. Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Broil each side for about 3 minutes (or until golden).
- Remove bread from oven, rub each side of the bread with garlic. Set aside.
- Preheat a pan with butter. Slice the onion into half rings, and slice the mushrooms into strips. Add the veggies to the pan and sauté until they are lightly golden.
- Top each bread piece with mushroom mixture, grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of thyme. Enjoy
