- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 ½ tsp active dry yeast
- ½ cup warm water plus a few more tbsp, if needed
- 5 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup or 10-12 heaped tbsp of plain yogurt
- ghee or melted butter to brush on the naan
