Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic peeled
  • 4 red chilies to taste
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
  • 2 1/2 tbsp palm sugar
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1/2 lime

Instructions

  1. Pound the garlic and chilies with a mortar and pestle. Continue until you reach a fine paste consistency.
  2. Add the roasted peanuts into the paste, crushing them thoroughly with the pestle.
  3. Add the palm sugar and fish sauce to the mixture, blending them in until the mixture achieves a sauce-like consistency.
  4. Finally, stir in the fresh lime juice, ensuring all the flavors are well combined. Serve immediately and enjoy!
