Ninja Creami Banana Ice Cream

Delicious homemade ice cream bursting with real banana flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas medium size
  • 2 cups (480ml) half and half
  • ⅓ cup (67g) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a Ninja CREAMi pint container. Seal with the lid and freeze for 24 hours.
  3. To process, remove from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja Creami outer bowl. Push the ice cream button.
  4. When done, check the consistency. If it's too firm, push the re-spin button.

Notes

  • Let it freeze for a full 24 hours. The ice cream base must be fully frozen to process correctly.
  • If you don't like having to wait, it's a good idea to prep and freeze more than one pint at a time.
  • Ice cream not smooth enough? Use the re-spin function. And if it’s still not the right texture, simply add a splash of cream or milk and re-spin again.
  • If you plan to add mix-ins, freeze in advance for the best results.
  • Storage - keep frozen in an airtight container for up to a month.
