Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Toast
Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Toast is a straightforward method of achieving toasted bread slices using an air fryer, resulting in a crunchy exterior and soft center. Butter is spread on one side before air frying, giving rich flavor and a golden crust. The toasting time can be adjusted based on bread thickness and desired browning.
Ingredients
- 4 lices bread (use any bread suitable for toasting. Gluten-free, paleo and keto-friendly toast bread will work too).
- 2 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
Instructions
- Spread the butter on one side of each piece of bread then arrange the bread on the air fryer basket, with the buttered side facing down.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for four minutes, flip, and air fry for a further 3 minutes (the time will depend on how you prefer your toast and how thick or thin they are sliced - see recipe notes below). Once the time is over, remove the basket from the air fryer.
- Serve your air fryer toast with jam, butter, grilled cheese, honey, or your favorite toppings!
Notes
- No preheating or greasing required in the air fryer for this recipe.
- Use softened butter or margarine for easier spreading and better coverage.
- Adjust air frying time based on bread thickness and desired toastiness; 4 minutes per side gives lighter toast, up to 8 minutes for darker.
- Check toast halfway through cooking to fine-tune timing for personal preference.
