Description
This recipe involves spreading softened butter on bread slices and air frying at 400°F (200°C). The bread is cooked first on the buttered side, then flipped to toast the other side. Ingredients
- 4 lices bread (use any bread suitable for toasting. Gluten-free, paleo and keto-friendly toast bread will work too).
- 2 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
Instructions
- Spread the butter on one side of each piece of bread then arrange the bread on the air fryer basket, with the buttered side facing down.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for four minutes, flip, and air fry for a further 3 minutes (the time will depend on how you prefer your toast and how thick or thin they are sliced - see recipe notes below). Once the time is over, remove the basket from the air fryer.
- Serve your air fryer toast with jam, butter, grilled cheese, honey, or your favorite toppings!
