Ingredients

Kitchen Gadgets:
  • Soup Maker
Healthy Teriyaki Sauce Ingredients:
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tsp ginger
  • 8 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 small potato
  • 2 Fresh pineapple slices

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel and dice the potato, ginger, and garlic. Cut your pineapple into cubes.
  2. Place everything into the soup maker.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes on the smooth soup setting.
  4. Allow to cool and then serve.

Notes

  • Seasonings. Avoid adding salt and pepper. You have enough flavour from the Chinese five spice and soy sauce gives you the salt.
  • Timings. My soup maker has a preset of 30 minutes for a smooth soup. I just stop it after 20 minutes because it is fully cooked by this point.
  • Thanks for reading our healthy teriyaki sauce recipe on Recipe This. We have many more soup maker recipes for you to check out next. Though if you love sauces, I recommend you try our soup maker cheese sauce next.
