- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
- 1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
- Whipped cream for garnish optional
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry filling by combining sugar, cornstarch, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the mixture thickens and becomes clear.
