No Churn Peppermint Ice Cream

No-Churn Peppermint Ice Cream is an easy homemade ice cream recipe made with just 5 ingredients. No ice cream maker required! Perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract*
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream , cold
  • 1/2 cup Peppermint candy , crushed

Instructions

  1. Place a 9-inch metal loaf pan in the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour.
  2. Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a metal bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whisk heavy cream until stiff peaks form approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Fold 1 cup of whipping cream into sweetened condensed milk, then adding remaining whipped cream until fully blended.
  5. Pour into cold loaf pan. Cover with aluminum foil and freeze for 2 hours.
  6. Remove and stir in peppermint candy. Recover and freeze for 8-24 hours.
