Ingredients
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract*
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups heavy cream , cold
- 1/2 cup Peppermint candy , crushed
Instructions
- Place a 9-inch metal loaf pan in the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour.
- Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Set aside.
- In a metal bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whisk heavy cream until stiff peaks form approximately 2 minutes.
- Fold 1 cup of whipping cream into sweetened condensed milk, then adding remaining whipped cream until fully blended.
- Pour into cold loaf pan. Cover with aluminum foil and freeze for 2 hours.
- Remove and stir in peppermint candy. Recover and freeze for 8-24 hours.
