Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (14.5 oz) chicken broth
- ½ cup water
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, water, and onion soup mix. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the rice mixture in the baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Do not peek while it cooks.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before uncovering.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
