Ingredients
- 250 g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 60 g yoghurt
- 4 tsp milk
- 2 tsp oil
- Coriander Chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the plain yogurt, milk, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
- Take one dough ball and roll it out into a circular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place the rolled-out dough onto the heated pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until bubbles start to form on the surface.
- Flip the naan bread and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side, until golden brown spots appear.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
- While the naan bread is still warm, brush the surface with melted butter and garnish with chopped cilantro on top.
- Serve the No Yeast Naan Bread warm with your favourite curry or dip.
