Ingredients
- 1 1 cup gf oat flour or grind any kind of rolled oats yourself
- ¾ ¾ cups gf oat flour
- 2 2 teaspoons baking powder (corn + aluminum free) your waffles will be a bit bigger and fluffier
- ¼ ¼ cup coconut flower sugar or more to taste
- honey
- ⅔ ⅔ cups water
- ½ ½ cup water
- ½ ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- maple syrup
- and/or ¼ and/or ¼ teaspoons Bourbon vanilla powder or extract
- Fresh fruits
- 2 2 pinches celtic sea salt or to taste
Instructions
- Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar and spices (if you use them).
- Mix in the water until it forms a thick batter. Set aside to let it go thicken a bit.
- Warm up your waffle maker.
- Add in the batter. Half of the batter will form one large waffle, so you can make two with this recipe.
- Close the lid, you can push it down gently but don't put a lot of pressure on it. There has to be a slight opening to let the steam out and give the batter a change to rise.
- After 7 minutes you can take your waffles out. Use a small wooden spatula to loosen them if necessary.
- Serve with your favourite toppings.
