Oatmeal Apple Cookies

These soft and chewy apple cinnamon oatmeal cookies are made with real apples and warm cinnamon, for tons of fall flavor in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 6 Tbsp butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup grated apples
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats uncooked

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars on medium speed, until well combined and creamy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients, mixing as you add. Fold in the oats and apples.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cookies just start to turn a light golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool on the cookie sheets for one minute, then transfer cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes
