Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 5 heaping tbsp Rolled oats
- ¼ cup Milk or half and half cream
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Add the salt and let it dissolve.
- Add the oats, reduce the heat and let cook for 1-2 minutes stirring all the while.
- Cover saucepan with lid, turn off the heat and let the oatmeal rest on the stove for 5 minutes. All the water should be dissolved.
- Add milk or cream to the oatmeal and mix well. Serve with fruit, additional milk, yogurt or any other toppings.
