Ingredients

  • 1 tbs butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbs cheddar cheese Shredded
  • ¼ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pinch black cracked pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Melt Butter in a skillet on the stove top over medium heat.
  2. While butter is melting, crack the eggs into a medium sized bowl. Be sure to remove any pieces of the shell that may have fallen into the eggs. Whisk briskly until the eggs is completely uniform in color and add to the warm pan.
  3. Whisk while cooking the egg. When the eggs are about cooked through the way you like them, add the cheese. Stop whisking and sprinkle with the seasonings. Serve Hot

Notes

  • PRO TIP: For flavorful eggs, follow this recipe and add the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Do NOT add the Old Bay while you are actively scrambling the eggs because this turns the eggs to an off colored orange that is unappealing. Add it just as the scrambling is done and before you remove the eggs from the pan.
  • For more flavor see the pro tip below.
  • Always figure 2 eggs per person when scrambling eggs and then add one more for the pan. So 2 people would be 2 eggs + 2 eggs +1 for the pan = 5 eggs.
  • For perfect eggs, remove the eggs from the heat before they are completely finished cooking, have the plates warming in a toaster oven or the warming drawer of the stove and the eggs will finish cooking while sitting on the plate.
