Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 qt milk
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup rice jasmine or basmati
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large soup pot, bring the milk to a boil (be sure to keep a close eye on the milk as it boils pretty quickly).
  2. Add in the rice, oatmeal, salt, and sugar. Bring the heat down to medium and cook the pudding for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked.
  3. Serve warm with your favorite toppings!
