Ingredients

  • 1 small 5 ounce beet, peeled
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 1 ½ inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides of the pitcher as needed.

Notes

  • For an extra creamy smoothie, use just ½ to ¾ cup of orange juice.
