Orange Ginger Detox Smoothie
This bright and refreshing orange ginger detox smoothie is filled with bright citrus, fresh ginger and flax seeds. The perfect on-the-go healthy breakfast or snack recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 large orange (seedless, peeled)
- 1 cup carrot shredded
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds or flax seed meal, Bob's Red Mill brand
- 3 inch piece ginger (thinly sliced)
- ⅔ cup protein powder any flavor, Bob’s Red Mill brand
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup water
- ice to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and puree until smooth. Add more ice to thicken until you've reached the desired consistency.
Notes
- This is great with mango or pineapple as well!
