Ingredients

  • 8 black tea bags ((such as Liptons, Rose’s or PG Tips))
  • 1 medium orange (peel only)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (freshly grated)
  • 8 cups boiling water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Bring water to a boil and place 8 tea bags in a large pitcher.
  2. Meanwhile, carefully remove peel from one orange. Be careful to avoid the bitter, white pith – you only want the bright orange peel. A small sharp knife or carrot peeler works well.
  3. Place orange peel and grated ginger in a pitcher on top of the tea bags.
  4. Pour boiling hot water in the pitcher and let steep 10 for minutes.
  5. Serve hot or chill to serve iced.
