Orange Vinaigrette

The Orange Vinaigrette combines fresh orange and lemon juice, red wine vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional fresh herbs to create a bright, citrusy salad dressing. It has a balanced acidity and slight sweetness, suitable for tossing with mixed greens or drizzling over composed salads.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • thyme optional or parsley, chopped fresh

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix orange juice, lemon juice, vinegar and honey together honey is fully incorporated.
  2. Whisk in olive oil, salt and pepper and herbs if using until blended and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  3. Toss with 8 cups of seasonal greens and fresh vegetables sliced thinly. Alternatively, sprinkle this over individual composed salads.
  4. Store any leftover dressing in a covered container in the fridge for up to one week.
