Orange Vinaigrette
Description
This vinaigrette recipe blends freshly squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, and red wine vinegar with honey for sweetness. Olive oil is whisked in to emulsify the dressing, while salt, pepper, and optional fresh thyme or parsley add subtle seasoning and herbaceous notes. The result is a dressing that offers a fresh citrus tang balanced by honey's smooth sweetness and olive oil's richness. It complements leafy greens and thinly sliced vegetables by adding a vibrant, zesty flavor.
Storing leftover dressing in the refrigerator up to one week maintains freshness. The vinaigrette can be adjusted with additional seasoning after whisking to taste. It works well both tossed with larger salad portions or drizzled on plated salads for enhanced flavor.
