Oreo Cheesecake Brownies

My Oreo Cheesecake Brownies will be the talk of your next gathering. These cheesecake brownies easily come together in under an hour thanks to store bought brownie mix paired with a homemade cheesecake filling that is loaded with tons of OREO cookies. A quick chill in the fridge and you will be ready to serve and enjoy with those you love.

Ingredients

  • 1 package brownie mix with ingredients required on box to make
  • 24 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 16 Oreo cookies divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a 9 x 9 metal square baking dish with parchment paper. Then spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Mix together the brownie mix according to the packaging. Then pour the browning batter into the parchment lined baking pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, using a KitchenAid Stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set to the side.
  5. Place 12 whole OREO cookies on top of the brownie mix. Then pour the cheesecake filling on top.
  6. Then crush 6 OREO cookies and sprinkle on top of the cheesecake filling.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until cheesecake and brownies are set and edges are slightly golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack until at room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 1-2 hour before serving.

Notes

  • ½
  • Chocolate Chips - If you want extra sweet you can add in ½ cup of chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
  • Homemade Brownies - If you prefer to make homemade brownies you can make your favorite recipe.
  • Over Mixing - Make sure you do not over mix the cheesecake batter or else you will have cracks in the cheesecake.
  • Doubling - Looking to serve more people? You can double this recipe and use a 9 x 14 baking pan.
