Oven Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 oz/150g bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 480°F/250°C and switch on the broiler/grill of your oven.
  2. Combine all the spices in a small bowl and mix well.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the pork chops and season generously with the spice mixture on both sides.
  4. Place the chops in a baking dish or on a rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Place on the highest rack in the oven and bake for 2-3 minutes then flip over and bake for another 2-3 minutes or until the pork is cooked through. 
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
