Overnight Oats with Yogurt

Overnight oats with yogurt is a protein-packed breakfast you can prep ahead in less than 5 minutes and enjoy throughout the week.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed
  • 1 cup Greek or plain yogurt
  • 3 cups milk your choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • almond butter for topping

Instructions

  1. Place four jars on a flat surface. Fill each jar with ½ cup old-fashioned oats, ½ teaspoon ground flax, ¼ cup yogurt, ¾ cup milk, and ½ teaspoon vanilla. Stir to combine. Top with strawberries and refrigerate.
  2. In the morning, stir to combine. Warm-up if desired or enjoy cold.
  3. Alternatively, combine the oats, flaxseed, yogurt, milk, and vanilla in one large bowl. Top with strawberries, cover, and refrigerate overnight. 
  4. In the morning, serve in a bowl. Warm-up if desired or enjoy cold and topped with almond butter.
