Overnight Salad or Seven Layer Salad

This layered salad combines crisp iceberg lettuce, hard-boiled eggs, bell peppers, onions, peas, tomatoes, green onions, dried cranberries, cheddar cheese, and bacon, all bound by a creamy buttermilk dressing. The salad is assembled in layers then chilled overnight, allowing the flavors to meld. The textural contrast between crunchy vegetables, soft eggs, and creamy dressing creates a balanced dish suitable as a side or light meal.
