Pan Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne to taste
  • 2 3/4 inch thick bone-in pork chops
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Place the flour with the paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and cayenne pepper together in a large rimmed plate; mix until well combined.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry then season each side of the chops with a bit of sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
  3. Heat the oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until HOT.
  4. Dredge both sides of the pork chops well in the seasoned flour then gently place them into the HOT skillet.
  5. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes then flip over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate before serving. Enjoy.
