Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne to taste
- 2 3/4 inch thick bone-in pork chops
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Place the flour with the paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and cayenne pepper together in a large rimmed plate; mix until well combined.
- Pat the pork chops dry then season each side of the chops with a bit of sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
- Heat the oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until HOT.
- Dredge both sides of the pork chops well in the seasoned flour then gently place them into the HOT skillet.
- Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes then flip over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate before serving. Enjoy.
