Peach Berry Trifle

Peach Berry Trifle Angel food cake, a sweet, creamy, fluffy filling with fresh peaches and raspberries makes this the perfect summer dessert.

Ingredients

  • (2) ounce angel food cakes cut into bite-size pieces, prepared
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened, or mascarpone cheese
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (may use more or less depending on taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste or almond extract
  • 4-5 large peaches (peeled and cut into slices)
  • (2) ounce pkgs. raspberry
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar (optional to sprinkle on the fruit)
  • (1) ounce pkg. blackberry

Instructions

  1. Cut angel food cake into bite size pieces and place in a large bowl. 
  2. In a large bowl, whip softened cream cheese for 2-3 minutes. Add heavy whipping cream and beat until soft peaks form, scraping the bowl often.  Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix until thickened.
  3. Slice peaches. If you would like to sprinkle sugar over peaches berries, place in bowl and sprinkle with 1/4-1/2 cup of sugar. 
  4. Layer angel food cake, vanilla cream filling, and peaches and berries in a trifle bowl. Repeat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
