Peach Chutney

Ingredients

  • 500 g peaches peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 100 ml Apple Cider Binegar
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in chopped peaches, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Let it cook uncovered for about 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chutney thickens.
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  5. Transfer the chutney into sterilized jars and seal tightly. Store in the refrigerator.
