Ingredients

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed well
  • ¼ cup peanut butter *Make sure there is no xylitol in the peanut butter!!!
  • 4-5 tbsp coconut oil, melted *If the mixture is too dry, add a bit more oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the oats, mashed bananas, peanut butter, and melted coconut oil in a large bowl. Mix until well combined then set aside for five minutes to allow the oats to soak up some of the liquids.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface and flatten it out with your hands or a greased rolling pin to 1/4-inch thickness. Using dog treat cutters, cut out desired shapes. Use a greased spatula to carefully move the treat to the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake until the edges are golden brown, about 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the treat.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. The dog treats will harden more while cooling.
  6. Store in an air-tight container in the freezer or refrigerator. Enjoy!
